BIOGRAPHY

"Robert is such an enthusiastic actor to work with. He will give you 150% every time!"

- Colin Ross Smith, Director of Sandwich & The Crews

Robert Lee-Harrison grew up and went to school in Greenock, Scotland in the 60’s. With a keen interest in music from an early age he became heavily involved in music and toured Scotland throughout the 80’s with a number of bands. Robert gained a lot of experience and found himself in studios such as; Park Lane, Riverside and Cava Studios where he bumped into the likes of Texas, Gun, Del Amitri and Wet Wet Wet.

Roberts journey into acting is as lucky as any mans. He came into acting very late in the game with a chance phone call from the researcher on Sweet Sixteen a film that was to be directed by Ken Loach and starred at the time Martin Compston in his breakout role.

They were looking for someone to play the part of a grandad in their film and their search had not been going well. Robert was asked to help them and four days later he got back to them with a man whom they auditioned and found was perfect for the part.

Pleased with the result they offered him a part of one of the gangsters in the movie where Robert realised he had a talent for acting and took to it like a duck to water.

Robert went on to work on various TV productions including stints on Rockface, Taggart, Monarch of The Glen as well as a role in The Planman starring Robbie Coltrane

As Roberts skills grew he started to get more roles as his career progressed and secured himself various lead and supporting roles in a number of Indie film and TV projects.

His recent productions have seen him cast as Tommy Granger in the short film, Sandwich and TV series The Crews, which Robert was one of the main leads in a series that aired on STV2. He also appeared alongside Mads Mikkleson in Nicholas Winding Refn's Valhalla Rising and his most recent credits include the title role in Independent Series, Frank directed by Luke Aherne.

Roberts success has also transferred over to his musical career. In recent years he has successfully set up a Bob Dylan Tribute act called "Bobby Does Dylan".

Robert has taken has act around Britain and headlined at the number one Dylan Festival in Europe at Dylan Fest in Moville.  Many fans who visited Dylan Fest have hailed him as the number one Bob Dylan Tribute act in Europe.
